The Burns Bog Conservation Society is looking for an IT specialist to help us in managing our office systems between 2-5 hours per week or as needs arise. Ideally, this person could come into our North Delta office very occasionally, while the majority of the tasks could be performed remotely. We are looking for someone with experience in the following:
- Microsoft office 365 setup and management for a business environment
- Provide new user setup support during our transition to Microsoft 365
- Some knowledge of DNS record management
- Experience setting up workstations in an office environment
- Provide advice regarding how to accommodate data storage needs
- Adequate experience to provide advice for a needs assessment of cost-efficient structure of paid office and business management software (virtual call subscriptions, web hosting providers, etc)
- Generally be available a couple of hours a week to answer office staff questions about IT systems by email
