Please note: This posting is for a 4-month Student Fall 2025 placement with a start date of September 2025 and end-date of December 2025.

In order to be eligible for this 4-month Student position, you must either:

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of December 2025; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in September/December 2025), but you require the work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.

What is the opportunity?

The National Operations Group under CFM Strategy & Enablement is responsible for ensuring an optimal partner support experience, effectively contributing to the business by supporting day-to-day operational activities. Delivering superior client experience every time, demonstrating appropriate sense of urgency in daily activities while working taking a collaborative approach. The student will work collaboratively within the NOG team to gather operational information, document data and share with support teams ensuring a clear presentation of information.  Takes full accountability for quality and accuracy of information, tasks and activities ensuring a balanced focus on client experience, efficiency and effectiveness and operational risk and compliance.

What will you do?

  • Assist with premises relocation in Montreal, including coordinating and organizing the move, preparing documentation, and ensuring a smooth transition for our teams.
  • Assist National Operations Group, CFM with day-to-day premises operations which would include Technology troubleshooting as required for the Centres.  Liaises with other appropriate functional departments to minimize fulfillment disruption and service commitment standards.
  • Support execution of Employee Engagement activities, including, organizing, and executing of small to large employee engagement events as needed
  • Co-ordinates technology, including retrieval and peripheral requirements for onsite, as well as a remote office.
  • Accurate and timely documentation/tracking related to assets, peripherals, and other daily activities for all lines of business.
  • Assists in the continuity of completing requests and associated SLAs during vacations/leaves.
  • Creates work orders immediately for maintenance identified, tracked, and follow-up to ensure completion promptly.
  • Assists in managing and maintaining office equipment inventory for the applicable Centres and identifies opportunities for cost savings, cost avoidance, and operational efficiencies.
  • Assists the NOG team in the setup for employees, internal moves, and projects/renovations that are completed within the center as applicable.
  • Provides support and assistance to the Centers in the day-to-day premise operation and equipment requirements.

  • This role assists with technology, including retrieval and peripheral requirements for onsite, as well as a remote office.
  • Assists in the management of premises/remote office issues and challenges ensuring quick resolution where possible, having minimal impact on client experience and related strategies

  • Ability to grasp information quickly with a high attention to detail.
  • Motivation and a strong desire to learn
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
  • Creativity and curiosity
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with RBC Systems My Procurement, My Marketplace, MyServices, ServiceNow, etc.
  • Experience with RBC Connect
  • Experienced with event coordination and execution
