What you’ll do
- Gain solid exposure to an ERP system (SAP) and understand how it is used to record and report financial transactions
- Understand and gain deep insight into the month-end financial close process and sub-processes that support the close.
- Gain insight into how actual results are reported against budget and forecast
- Analyze accounting and financial data
- Increase your knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Business Intelligence/Analytical tools and how they are leveraged to increase the effectiveness of reporting
- Perform a variety of financial analyses to help business leaders in decision-making
Who you are
- Available to begin work on or around September 8th, 2025
- Legal authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship for this role will not be provided
- As this position requires the operation of a motor vehicle, a valid US Driver’s License is required
- Previous experience is considered an asset
- Strong attitude for carrying out all work in a safe, cautious manner while following safe work practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Education
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline
- Preference will be given to students in 3rd or 4th year
- Availability for multiple work terms is preferred
- Strong academic performance
- Ability to work 40 hours per week during the scheduled semester
- Attached copies of transcripts
