The Workplace team owns, delivers, and optimizes safe environments to enable Cenovus staff to perform their best work in Canada and the US. Space Management is accountable for space allocation, staff location changes, workspace adoption, and furniture management.
Reporting to the Manager, Space Management, the Space Management Student will support key initiatives in space allocation, data analysis, and process documentation for workspace assets across our portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing an education in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.
What you’ll do
Responsibilities may vary, but they will include
- Maintain and update staff locations for accurate space records.
- Assist with cost control activity, including invoice processing and tracking.
- Assist team members with process improvement initiatives.
- Support corporate furniture management program activities.
- Prepare documentation to support new and updated processes.
Who you are
Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications

Legally authorized to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa)
- Available to begin work in September 2025.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
- Solid analytical and Microsoft Suite skills, specifically Excel with strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, judgment, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with data tools (e.g., Power BI, SharePoint, Service-Now) will be considered an asset.
Education
- Must be enrolled in a Planning, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field Undergraduate Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term
- New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
