Opportunity
The successful applicant(s) will support various areas of hatchery production during the summer months. Shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday with a 5AM start.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring quality of product
• Able to work in different departments as needed (including chick deliveries to farms)
• Working on the transfer crew when needed (Embrex) Saturday’s included
• Working in the egg room on Wednesday’s & Saturday’s
• Working with the sanitation team as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Be reliable and dependable, able to be at work every day, on time
• Able to work in a fast paced and repetitive task environment
• Able to work in a wet/humid environment
• Have the desire to learn
• Be physically fit and able to lift, push, and/or pull, weight of up to 50lbs overhead
• Have commitment to safe work practices
• Able to work varying and flexible hours until job is complete (including statutory holidays)
• Adhere to HACCP, Biosecurity & Animal Welfare requirements (Training will be provided)
• Please note completion of High School Diploma is not required to be successful in this position
