The Intern, Warehouse Coordinator will support the Project Leaders with productivity and continuous improvement initiatives. Functions will include assisting inventory team & investigating claims, proof of delivery & manifest requests.  The intern will work with the planning team to identify risks and find solutions to minimize it. The intern will coordinate with carriers and assist the shipping office to optimize warehouse resources.

The Internship Program will begin on May 12th and end August 15th, 2025.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER…

  • Create productivity reports to track picking, and forklifting activity & volume to assist lead supervisor in scheduling manpower
  • Track expenses in particular material handling equipment maintenance, building maintenance and supplies to ensure financial goals are met.  Identify repair and spending trends and look opportunities for improvement.
  • Liaison with planning, customer service & distribution teams to ensure customers’ needs are met

 

YOU ARE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU…

  • Are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Administration (Accounting, Supply Chain management or related field) (Second or third year undergrad or first year Master students);
  • Are active in extracurricular activities on campus or in the community;
  • Have previous related internship experience (an asset);
  • Are detail-oriented, analytical, self-motivated and willing to take initiative;
  • Are not afraid to get acquainted with your team and business partners, quickly building relationships;
  • Experience in food manufacturing, health & safety (an asset);
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (Formulas, macros, power queries, etc.);
  • Master Office suite programs and applications;
  • Have strong time management and organizational skills: you will manage priorities and multiple projects at a time all while ensuring to meet deadlines.
