Concretely, what do your days look like ?
In collaboration with your future colleagues, you will ensure the smooth running of web development in one of the work teams while being an integral part of a large and growing team .
- Design and develop new features for our websites and intranets;
- Be involved in the design and evolution of the architecture;
- Develop, update and maintain our network’s internet and intranet sites;
- Participate in various special web development projects;
- Participate in analysis and decisions in projects, we follow the Scrum method, so you will have to play a role in different recurring events of sprint grooming, planning, retrospective , daily scrum with your work team;
- Communicate with other team members during the different phases of the project, from analysis, through reflection of detailed technical solutions, to going online; and this, including quality assurance.
You will join a large, experienced and growing team that is used to integrating members into their troupe. The team is continuously developing several websites and digital platforms that receive more than 10 million visits per month. The projects you will contribute to will be assigned to you based on the context during your internship with us (everything moves fast here!!), but also according to your interests.
What do you need to be a Back-end Web Development Intern with us?
- Student in computer science or any other relevant training;
- Knowledge of languages and technologies such as: Java and Spring;
- Be responsible and autonomous;
- Have a good team spirit;
- Have a strong interest in the web domain;
- Have good adaptability to unforeseen situations and changes;
- Have good synthesis skills with good judgment.
What will your technological environment be?
- Development carried out in the Docker environment;
- Robust and efficient infrastructure to support millions of visitors, high availability;
- Java, Spring, MySQL, React, CSS/SCSS/SASS;
- Source management with Git;
- Continuous deployment (several times a day) and code review using the Gitlab tool ;
- Integration and use of a multitude of products under Amazon Web Service such as S3, Aurora, RDS, Redshift, SES, SQS, EKS, Cloudfront , etc.
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform , Ansible.
