Minimum Requirements:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or diploma program in sciences or business such as Environmental Science, Actuarial Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a program with a Regulatory and Policy focus.
- You must be returning to full-time studies after the work term

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to reclamation and closure projects by conducting literature reviews, coordinating resources and personnel, and facilitating progress on annual program commitments and requirements.
- Enter, manage, analyze, and compile wildlife, safety, environmental, and regulatory performance and compliance data.
- Assist in gathering and organizing information on safety and environmental control measures within operating units.
- Update and help develop presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and flowcharts
- Support the monitoring and evaluation of emerging environmental policies and regulations.
Location & Other Key Details:
- This is an 4, 8, or 12 month term commitment beginning in May 2025
- This role is located at our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W., or at our Edmonton Refinery or in Vancouver
