What You’ll Do
As part of the Intelligent Automation Centre of Excellence. You will design and program Process Automation solutions (Bots) by analyzing operational processes and recommending scope for automation; using advanced programming and configuration skills to deliver on automation projects across the enterprise.
- Identify automation opportunities by assessing business needs, recommending suitable processes for automation, and integrating controls and metrics to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Design, develop, and configure Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions and implementing optimized processes.
- Code, configure, and deploy Bots quickly based on detailed process designs, ensuring adherence to best practices in automation.
- Draft and execute test plans to validate automated processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful implementation.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for RPA solutions to serve as a reference for future improvements and team knowledge sharing.
What You Bring
- Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science/Analytics, Software or Industrial Engineering, Robotics, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Exposure to software requirements analysis and familiarity with programming concepts, with experience in one or more programming languages or platforms (e.g., MS Power Platform, .NET, Java, Python, Selenium).
- A quick learner with a demonstrated ability to adapt to new and emerging situations.
- Curious about Intelligent Automation and Artificial Intelligence (e.g., Generative AI, Machine Learning).
- Experienced with Agile and DevOps methodologies, with a passion for critical thinking, problem-solving, and leveraging emerging technology to simplify processes.
Hybrid
We value flexibility. We have adopted a hybrid work model whereby employees use a combination of working in office and virtually in service of outcomes. Each leader is empowered to decide what work is best achieved in person based on the unique needs of their team. This hybrid role is based out of our Yonge/Eglinton Campus and the candidate for this role can expect to work onsite a minimum two days per week.
