What you’ll do:

• Get familiar with communication networks, cloud and AI technologies 
• Develop and test high-availability and high-performance telecommunications software capabilities in a virtualized environment.
• Explore cloud and container technologies on commercial and proprietary hardware
• Address end-to-end scenarios including multiple platforms, middleware and applications.
• 3GPP IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), SIP, C / C ++, Python
• To develop an integrated solution for machine-to-machine (M2M) sensor deployment that can utilize an existing mobile core network for communication and control for utilities and healthcare.
• Develop Java network telecommunications node and client to handle M2M traffic.
• Develop a complete end-to-end prototype including a real scenario (vehicle surveillance, home automation.

 

The skills you bring: 

• You are currently enrolled full-time in undergraduate, master’s or doctoral studies at a 4-year college or university in Canada 
• Registering for courses during the winter term
• Organized and have an efficient way of working
• Able to work in a team environment
• Able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing
