What you’ll do:

 

The Jumpstart Program Operations Student plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our charity. This position involves performing key administrative tasks and providing support for engaging and challenging sport-related projects, making it an essential part of our Community Granting team.

  • Support the maintenance of an inbox for parent/grantee inquiries, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and provide recommendations to improve internal processes based on industry best practices.
  • Lead projects that contribute to the current and future state of the charity, particularly in areas such as inclusive play and gender equity.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, supporting both the Operations and Program teams.
  • Provide administrative and operational support across the charity as needed.

 

What you bring:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or other related discipline
  • Background in Sport & Recreation an asset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible and dynamic individual who is able to adjust and prioritize accordingly to adapt to business demands and requirements, in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to work independently, be a team player, and demonstrate highly developed interpersonal communication skills
  • Bilingualism an asset
