Béton Mobile du Québec Inc, A division of Lafarge Canada Inc. is looking for a materials control engineer intern. Reporting to the Technical Director, the main duties of the engineer intern will be to monitor quality control on site and in the technicians’ laboratory, participate in the development of new mixes, monitor the Quality System implemented by Béton Mobile du Québec Inc, A division of Lafarge Canada Inc. to maintain BNQ certification, participate in the calibration of mobile concrete mixers and act as a representative to the customer to respond to any technical requests or problems on site.
- A company vehicle is provided to the intern for travel during the internship.
- Possibility of working part-time after the internship.
- Working hours – Monday to Friday (Minimum 40 hours per week)

SKILLS
- Essential – Be enrolled in a University Civil Engineering program
- Essential – Competence in the field of concrete
- Essential – ASP Card (general health and safety on construction sites)
- An asset – Level I technician card (ACI)
- Essential – Bilingual French and English (spoken and written)
- Essential – Valid Class 5 license
- Important – Ability to work in a team
- Important – Work with respect towards the customer
- Important – Have access to a vehicle
- Important – Good knowledge of Montreal and its suburbs
- Casual – Available to travel outside the suburbs of Montreal
