Dr Adam Jake is seeking applications for a M.S. graduate assistantship to work on a collaborative research project evaluating bird and bird habitat responses to cattle grazing in Conservation Reserve Program Grasslands in Iowa.
The student will work as part of a collaborative project with other students and faculty examining a wide range of environmental outcomes related to grazing including birds, plants, soil health, greenhouse gases, water quality, and cattle production.
The project is funded by the Farm Services Agency and will be conducted on private farms in Iowa starting in summer 2025.
