Your Opportunity

 

Our Guelph office is looking for a 4- or 8-month Co-op Student or Intern to join the Payroll Services team from September to December 2024 or April 2025 and own the following responsibilities:

  • Input, validate, test and report client’s payroll
  • Identify data discrepancies outside of the norm and notify the appropriate contact on the team
  • Administer hourly and salary payroll and ensure timely payments to employees
  • Generate requested payroll reports
  • Assist with year-end requirements

Your experience and education

  • You are currently working towards a degree/diploma, focused in accounting, finance or commerce
  • You have a desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork
  • You have proven leadership skill and can take initiative to seek understanding
  • You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • You are detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task competing priorities
  • You are proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of general payroll processing and terminology is an asset
