Procurement technology product ownership team provides oversight and strategic relationship management of the SAP Concur employee expense solutions platform and Planview SaaS suite of project management tools across the enterprise.

What is the opportunity?

You will work closely with the Product and Technical teams to scale the existing capability of RBC’s employee expense technology platform (SAP Concur) and will also continue to evolve our Project Management Office (PMO) technology solution across the bank.

What will you do?

  • Assist in driving process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Leverage automation to drive efficiency and to improve our operating environment.
  • Participate and/or identify business resources for user acceptance testing (where needed) and post-implementation validation (PIV).

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on technology, computer science or engineering
  • Ability to learn and absorb new concepts (in business and in systems) quickly and apply new knowledge
  • Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast paced environment

Nice-to-have

  • Familiar with JIRA/Confluence tools.
  • Experience or understanding of programming languages, databases, platforms, frameworks, design techniques and tools, code management tooling, and/or web technologies

Please note: This posting is for a 4-months Fall 2024 Student placement with a start date of September 2024, and end date of December 2024. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either:

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of December 2024 ; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in December 2024), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
