Minimum Requirements
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate accounting, finance or economics program at an accredited post-secondary institution
- You must be returning to full-time studies after the work term

Responsibilities
- Participate in the identification, development, and implementation of technical solutions, process improvement, and cost saving opportunities
- Perform and assist with period-end financial duties and reporting through: compiling information and numbers, preparing presentations, performing variance analysis, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Collaborate within and outside of the finance organization to support business processes
- Support our credit team with credit reports and the parental guaranty process for counterparties
- Assist in the vendor audit process for cost recovery from vendors while utilizing a real-time attest approach
Location and other Key Details
- This is an 8 or 12 month work term starting in September 2024
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
- You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
