About the team you are joining
This position is part of the Human Resources team (called People, Performance and Development – PPD) in Montreal. You will be working closely with the local PPD team and will also interact often with PPD colleagues from other IATA international locations, especially Geneva.
Reporting to the Business Partner PPD, you will support the team and provide assistance in HR operations, processes improvements, as well as helping with different administrative tasks.
What your day would be like
- Process attestation letters, visa letters and other documents as required;
- Assist with the different processes for international employees in Montreal (Social Insurance Number, Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec, Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec, etc.);
- Monitor the work permits’ expiration dates, prepare the required documents, and support the employees during the renewal process;
- Document the main PPD processes;
- Assist with general administrative duties, e.g. filing, data entry, electronic tracking;
- Support with some recruitment activities: interview scheduling, reference checks, background checks;
- Review and update PPD templates as necessary;
- Support PPD Specialist on administrative activities & processes.
We would love to hear from you if
- You have graduated, or are in the last phase of graduating a university program, preferably in the fields of human resources management or business administration;
- You possess excellent administrative and organizational skills, with a strong focus on quality and high attention to detail;
- You have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively internationally, cross-culturally, and at all levels in the organization;
- You are proficient in MS Office products, with advanced skills in Word and Excel;
Fluent in English; knowledge of French is an asset.
