What will you work on?
As an Intern, you will be expected to perform a variety of tasks that support our design and development process. You will be asked to collaborate with a broad cross section of individuals from various departments, while you contribute your creativity and problem-solving skills across multiple projects
How will you create impact?
- Brainstorm and develop concepts for both existing brands and new categories
- Support design team with daily tasks, including presentation design and visuals, mockup modelmaking, design documents etc
- Research and identify trends in play, toy categories, culture, fashion and children’s entertainment and present findings as design rationale
- Visually communicate product concepts and details through sketching, CAD, physical model building and/or video editing
- Communicate with outside vendors to produce work such as modelmaking, sketches, sounds etc.
- Conduct detailed reviews of models/samples, illustrations and animation assets, provide clear feedback and next steps
- Assist in arranging spaces and samples for showing at trade shows, showcases and film shoots
- Create design specification sheets to define product specifics for development manufacturing.
- Collaborate with working-level teammates in Engineering, Brand Marketing, Packaging, and participate in functional team meetings
- Participate, contribute to, and present a group project at the completion of the internship
What are your skills and experience?
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator would be a plus
- Available for hybrid work model, 3 days per week in office
- Must be able to work full-time as an intern
