Reporting to the Data Strategy and Enablement Director, the Business Intelligence & Enablement Intern will be responsible for providing assistance in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets – identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data to provide meaningful insights. In addition, the Business Intelligence & Enablement Intern will also support in developing and executing programs and initiatives to enhance data literacy and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
You’re great at…
- In collaboration with subject matter experts to implement data products (reports, insights, dashboard, etc), document process and identify enhancement
- Assist In collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets -identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data to provide meaningful insights.
- Support in developing resources to facilitate continuous learning and development related to data analytics and AI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Work with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or other relevant platforms.
- Learn and apply best practices for data visualization and reporting
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in business intelligence.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements based on data analysis.
- Support in defining key initiatives, milestones, and success metrics for the implementation of the data enablement strategy.
- Communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Document processes, methodologies, and insights for future reference.
- Support in developing and executing programs and initiatives to enhance data literacy and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Who are you?
- Excellent communication skills – both verbally and written.
- Able to take ownership of problems and requests as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced team.
- Critical thinker.
- Exposure to developing dashboards and mining data for insights.
- Experience with BI tools.
- Disciplined self-starter with strong analytical, logical, reasoning and problem solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy.
Must have skills:
