Who We Are Looking For
Are you a student with a flair for creating captivating content on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and more? If you live and breathe social media, and have a keen eye for quality, along with a deep understanding of trends, audience behaviour, and engagement, we want you on our team.
This is a part-time hybrid role (10-15 hours per week) with 1-2 times a month in the Toronto showroom (385 Adelaide St.) to film & shoot content.
Key Responsibilities
- Contributing to a social media content creation strategy, including segmentation by channel (IG vs TikTok vs others)
- Conducting competitive market research to inform social media content creation strategy; what are the best brands in the space doing?
- Help maintain the content calendar to ensure a steady flow of engaging materials across our channels (IG, TT primarily & our secondary channels Pinterest + Youtube Shorts)
- Creating catchy, entertaining and informative content that aligns with our strategy, which will include working with our social media specialist to take photographs and videos in our Toronto Showroom (~1-2 times a month), creating illustrations, writing copy, and designing posts and stories. Must be comfortable in front of the camera!
- Collaborate with the Social Media Specialist to track engagement metrics with our Monthly Social Reports to refine strategy and double down on what works.
Qualifications
- Experience in graphic content creation including photography and video.
- Experience editing photos and videos using tools like Canva, Figma, Capcut etc.
- You’re a great story-teller with a knack for building deeper engagement with your audience

- Past experience growing a viral social account
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and flexible.
- Able to challenge ideas and founders.
- A love for furniture, design, productivity, health and/or the built environment
