What you’ll do:
Eaton Industries (Canada) Company located in Edmonton Power Center has an opening for an 8-month internship opportunity in our Power Distribution and Control Assemblies (PDCA) Marketing Department.
Primary Function:
The primary functions of the position are to create, support, and implement the value propositions to generate demand for Canadian manufactured assemblies.
Essential Functions:
• Collaborate with the US product lines and Canadian product engineering to develop and enhance the product portfolio.
• Assist in the development of supporting marketing collateral and social media campaigns including presentations, price lists, application guides, product aids, new product launch materials, electronic sales tools, and catalogues.
• Assist in the updating Canadian web portal to ensure all Canadian offers PDCA product catalogues and product aids are viewable from the Canadian users.
• Assist in creating comprehensive quotation tool for the aftermarket products and create aftermarket quote.
• Create training modules including (new and upgrading current) presentations, specific for EatonCare, sales and end-user segment i.e., distributors vs consultants vs contractors.
• Assist in the developing Canadian PDCA Product demos that may require to update existing product drawing.
• Create PDCA Utility or custom product look up table for the sales, application Engineers and Champs organization.
• Conduct design reviews and discussions with Central Engineering team to complete new product migration US to Canada (Non ProLaunch) projects.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or College diploma program in Business, Marketing, or Engineering with an accredited institution.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• This position does not offer relocation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3rd and 4th year students will be given preference.
• Previous Co-Op or Internship experience.
Position criteria:
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
• Previous computer programming experience.
• Power BI experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or the community.
• Effective time management and project management skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability.
