This is an excellent career opportunity where you will work with close guidance and supervision on tasks and smaller projects, and as a team member of a larger project under the guidance of a Senior Engineer/Designer. You will perform a variety of tasks which may include preparation of specifications, calculations, drawings and scope documents for contracts.
Learning from project managers and technical design staff to prepare design calculations and project documentation.
Learn and improve your fundamental computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) skills.
Perform simple calculations, computer data entry, along with some exposure to CAD, GIS, design, and cross-training.
Develop and utilize excel files to perform design calculations.
Edit and review technical reports.
Perform field work (evaluation of existing sites) as directed by senior engineer/designer.
Assists with engineering duties on projects of various complexity.
Performs other duties as assigned by the senior engineering staff.
Ability to take direction, follow process and accept feedback and suggestions from senior engineers/designers.
Working toward a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline; civil, electrical, instrumentation & controls, mechanical, piping or structural engineering.

86 Per Hour – $29.99 Per Hour Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in BC
