What you’ll do

Position title: SAP iXp Intern – Product Support, Application Lifecycle Management

Location: Toronto, ON

Expected start date: January 2024

As an SAP Product Support Intern, you will have a fully immersive experience in a Product Support environment at a leading enterprise software company. The successful candidate will share the same responsibilities and expectations as a regular SAP Product Support Engineer.
• Problem solving of customer issues using channels such as chat, emails, and phone calls.
• Perform root-cause analysis of customer issues and provide solutions.
• When required, document and report software errors to development.
• Time management skills to support multiple customer issues simultaneously.
• Document solutions in SAP Knowledge Base Articles and Wiki Content.

As an SAP Product Support Engineer, you will help to operate SAP solutions efficiently by providing state-of-the-art support services to SAP customers. Training and knowledge transfer from senior support engineers will be provided to the successful candidate.. This involves:
• Conducting a root-cause analysis of product and configuration issues.
• Testing and proposing resolutions using the help of advanced tools, knowledge bases, and remote connections to customer systems.
• Documenting the problem-solving process in a concise and organized structure.

What you bring

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
• Good knowledge of computer hardware and operating system is a strong asset.
• Excellent command of English in written and verbal form.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience in customer service is essential (both volunteer and employment settings are considered).
• Previous experience in customer support environment is an asset.
• Prepared to work collaboratively with colleagues in a global support team environment.
• Self-disciplined to work independently and achieve set goals.
• Ability to stay curious by being self-motivated to learn independently.
• Actively reflects on constructive feedback and continuously works on self-improvement.
• You must reside in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
• You must be available for training on-site (we are located at 222 Bay St. in Toronto) and attend in-office meetings as required.
• You can work full-time for a minimum of one year with SAP Support.
• You must be currently enrolled or a recent graduate (6 months post-graduate) in a technology or computer science related undergraduate or graduate degree program
