Porsche Cars Canada Internship opportunities are designed to promote both career development and functional expertise for the intern, as well as to complete project-related and day-to-day support for the AfterSales parts department.

 

Our team is looking for an AfterSales Parts Intern for a 12 month tenure to support the Parts Support Team on a variety of projects that include but are not limited to Parts and Accessories Operational support, AfterSales administrative support, and AfterSales Parts Project Execution and Administration.

 

Primary Responsibilities

• Support strategy projects for After Sales Parts Operations

• Prepare, create, and publish information on Porsche’s internal system: PPN as required

• Support the Manager, Parts Operation and Logistics and the Parts Operational team

• Create and submit approval requests for Purchase Orders, Invoicing, Project management, creation and execution of Request for Approval and PO/PR as required in Porsche Zycus system

• Create/maintain monthly Part Purchase Reports for Canadian Dealer Network

• General AfterSales projects support

• Other duties may be assigned as required by the business

• Candidate must be open to working with other functions within AfterSales and Porsche Canada as a whole

 

Anforderungen

 

Qualifications

 

Education:

• Recent graduate or currently attaining Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar discipline

• Basic understanding of dealership functions and parts and service is preferred

 

Experience

• 1-3 years’ experience in the area of automotive is preferred but not mandatory

• Automotive Dealership parts department experience is an asset

• Customer service-oriented experience is an asset

 

Skills

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Ability to solve advanced problems and trouble-shoot complex issues

• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe

• Reliable, proactive, and capable of working independently

• Sets and achieves challenging goals, recognizes and acts on opportunities, demonstrates resilience and overcomes obstacles

• Strong motivation and willingness to learn

• Ability to manage and oversee several activities at once

• Desire for continuous development and learning opportunities

• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills

• Ability to speak French is preferred but not mandatory

• Able to work independently/remotely while also engaging and obtaining support of all stakeholders

• Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

The candidate for this position is ideally an automotive enthusiast with a passion for the Porsche brand.

 

Working hours are from 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday. Although we currently are operating on hybrid work model (office and home) the expectation should be that you may be required to be in the office 5 days a week.
