As an Intern on the Experience Design (XD) Team at Autodesk, you’ll partner with Product Management and Engineering teams to deliver front end web-based experiences, APIs, services, and infrastructure that our customers and developers use to access, manage, and extend the capabilities of Autodesk’s design and make software. The XD Team includes interaction/visual design and content strategy.

Responsibilities
• Conduct usability tests and other customer research to help inform business and design decisions
• Visualize and prototype solutions at multiple levels of fidelity, from high-level wireframes or mock-ups to conceptual presentations to technical documents and diagrams
• Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams, working iteratively to deliver customer value
• Run competitive analyses to identify industry best practices or key capabilities related to specific projects

Minimum Requirements
• Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree seeking program with an expected graduation date in 2025
• You have hands-on knowledge of qualitative or quantitative research
• Your past portfolio shows your user experience design process and skills
• Experience with Figma or other design tools

Preferred Qualifications
• Desire to lead the design process alongside other team members while receiving mentorship from senior members of the Experience Design Team
• Experience managing different disciplines while creating the best experiences for users

About The US Intern Program

The 2024 U.S. program runs for 12 weeks (May 20 – August 9 or June 17 – September 6). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development.
