About this opportunity:
The Quality Engineering Intern will support driving creative solutions to quality issues highlighted by our Aerospace, Defense and Industrial customers. They will have the opportunity to work in a stimulating environment and with a collaborative team.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Power BI and Excel Macros – considered an asset
• Knowledge of Data Automation – considered an asset
• Experience with Powerpoint and Google suites – considered an asset
• Well organized and an effective communicator
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to work effectively autonomously once trained
• Time management and ability to prioritize and re-assess schedules and tasks quickly and effectively
Activities:
• Working with internal and external customers
• Participate in resolving customer, supplier, and internal quality issues promptly and efficiently
• Working alongside customer quality engineers to support various projects and customer quality complaints
• Facilitates weekly quality review meetings
• Participating in corrective action problem solving situations
Physical Demands, duties of this position are varied and will include:
• Minimal physical demands
• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
• Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g. data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.).
