As a Data Analyst Intern, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining critical datasets used by our investment teams.
You will need to manage relationships across the entire data pipeline, from working with data vendors to delivering clean data to the end user in an easily digestible format.

Responsibilities
• Work with various teams to understand their data requirements and provide guidance on data usage
• Design interfaces to connect various financial and alternative data sources by collaborating with end users and data engineers
• Monitor and review data collection, data quality and data cleansing infrastructure
• Explore ways to improve data evaluation processes and ensure data integrity
• Identify and document any data-related issues and communicate them to the appropriate stakeholders
• Communicate insights through compelling data visualizations
Qualifications & Requirements
Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Outstanding programming skills : SQL, Python and Pandas experience is required
• Experience with data wrangling and cleaning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Hardworking, resourceful, passionate, driven
• Thorough and detail oriented
• An understanding of financial instruments, securities and market data is a plus
• Prior data internship experience is a plus
• Bonus points for experience with AWS or other cloud-based services
With respect to NY- and CA-based applicants, the starting base pay range for this role is between $7500 and $9000 monthly.
The actual base pay is dependent upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, business needs and market demands.
This role may also be eligible for bonus compensation and employee benefits.
