Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is currently seeking a Material Management Analyst Intern, working out of the Winnipeg, MB location. This internship is beginning early January, 2024.

We are looking for a Material Management Analyst Intern, who is interested in working side-by-side with experienced Scheduling professionals. Our student Intern will be given a unique experience, as they learn the ropes and attain newfound competencies. Interns are exposed to on-the-job challenges as they work on hands-on tasks, undergo training, and have the opportunity to work on special projects. Position Responsibilities:
Will work with Mentors to learn how to:
• Coordinate and schedule on time delivery of complex parts, commodities following established procedures.
• Performs audits and other forms of analysis of information from multiple sources to determine accuracy relative to delivery schedules, inventories levels, requirements, etc.
• Coordinate the flow of materials management related information between and among internal and external recipients.
• Planning/scheduling for aftermarket and 2nd issue requirements (POA/AOG, spares)
• Learn Internal customer communications and system updates
• Handle and prioritize multiple tasks
• Assist in maintaining schedules for products

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Winnipeg, MB.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Must be legally able to work in Canada
• Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data.
• Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
• Must be enrolled as a full-time student with an accredited university or college.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, high-impact communication style

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Prefer previous internship experience.
• Supply Chain management or similar discipline in their 3rd or 4th year of studies
• Excellent collaboration skills to work amongst cross-functional teams
• Have an understanding of Just In Time (JIT) principles and Material Resource Planning (MRP).
• Possess the ability to work in a team environment
• At least two years in a post-secondary program related to this opportunity will be considered an asset.
• Prefer enrollment in the Production and Inventory Management Certificate Program (APICS, CPIM) or SCMP Program
• Have worked with SAP/CAMS/ECC (Basic Schedule)
• Understanding of multi-layer bill of material, and complex schedules

Education/Experience:
• Graduates are ineligible unless continuing in post graduate studies.

Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
