Your Role and Responsibilities
This position resides in Toronto, Ontario and is a 8-month work term commencing January 2024. It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work term.
The successful candidate will assist the Industry and Domain expert in delivering expert content to social media, internal and external sites and complete research on topics as assigned in the areas of financial services, cash management, payments, generative AI (as it relates to the financial services). Some analytical reporting of initiatives undertaken by the IBM Payments Center may be required from time to time
Responsibilities include:
• Manage and deliver relevant and timely payments content, as provided by others, for social media channels such as Slack (internal) and LinkedIn (external) focussed on thought leadership on payments
• Monitor aforementioned channels for questions, topics of interest and feedback, for a virtuous cycle of engagement and continuous improvement
• Market research in the payments domain, including competitive behaviours and market trends
• Provide assistance in collateral development for Gen AI-Data payments analytics offerings/initiatives
• Provide support for offering and client initiative reporting, roadmap documentation, revenues and usage metrics for IPC initiatives
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• * Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good facility with MS Office tools, especially Word & PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills
• Good research skills
• A clear credit check is a requirement for this role
• Must be eligible to work 4 months starting in January 2024
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Understanding of financial services – knowledge of payment systems would be an asset
• Technical writing ability preferred, but not required
