Purpose of Job
The Inside Sales Associate – Intern will be responsible for supporting the Inside Sales Department on a variety of projects, including prospecting of new customers, operational improvements, new marketing campaigns and analysis, and sales administrative support. The Intern will also support the CRM management and maintenance and any other administrative duties as required to support the sales
team. . The incumbent will use their analytical abilities to provide both qualitative and quantitative input supporting the development of recommendations to refine the processes and strategies in place and increase origination volumes.

The Work
• Prospecting and Business Development – Sales and Marketing Support:
• Support the Internal Business Department through the following activities:
• Sourcing and crosschecking Brokerage National House Lists for new potential prospecting relationships with mortgage brokers and agents and potentially initiating first contact with those prospects.
• Ensuring there is no duplication across our existing books of business and newly prospected agents and brokers.
• Track pipeline applications (status 0-2) and identify and troubleshoot those that are “stuck” to help advance the through the deal process.
• Work with the Inside Sales Representative to identify/review daily cancelled deals to improve deal conversation and identify areas where we may be losing deals to competitors.
• Liaise with marketing on initiatives to expand marketing resources and initiatives to support the broader Inside Sales strategy across all SFR mortgage products.
• Review existing marketing pieces and provide innovative and fresh recommendations to improve how we communicate and sell to brokers/agents.
• Support the AD, Internal Business Development strategic initiatives with activity tracking and analysis of portfolio results; and provide recommendations for growth / areas of opportunity.
• CRM :
• Support the CRM data maintenance and process integration within the Inside Sales Department.
• Assist in implementing and documenting integration of CRM process and updating the Sales Manual; as well as making recommendations for enhancement and efficiencies.
• Administrative and Operational Support:
• Support Inside Sales Department with operational and administrative tasks as required.
• Producing reports and assisting with projects as required to support the sales team
