Porsche Cars Canada Internship opportunities are designed to promote both career development and functional expertise for the intern, as well as, to complete project-related and day-to-day support for the department.

Porsche Cars Canada is seeking a Marketing Intern for a 6-12 month tenure to support the department in the areas of Communications, CRM and Retail Marketing. The intern will be reporting to the Manager, Marketing Communications.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Support the Manager of Marketing Communications with agency briefing and campaign planning tasks
• Work with the Marketing Communications Specialist and creative agency on content strategy for Porsche Canada’s websites and social media channels
• Support the CRM team with the execution of customer loyalty programs like Churn and Waiting for Delivery
• Build email campaign templates for national and regional programs
• Assist the Retail Marketing Manager with dealer scorecard auditing reporting and marketing inquiries
• Work with the Marketing team on national events and programs for the dealer network (local campaigns, email & direct mail invitations, dealer communication)
• Build campaign reports (KPIs) and presentation reviews for the Marketing team

Secondary Responsibilities:
• Provide support to the Marketing department with administrative and procurement tasks, including purchase requisitions and invoice processing
• Support the Marketing team with writing and/or proofreading copy in various communications (i.e. Social media posts, email newsletters etc.)
• Support Retail Marketing Manager with coordinating dealer POS material orders, distribution and invoicing
• Set-up and consolidate presentations for weekly marketing status meetings
• Assist with posting updates and bulletins to dealer network on an ongoing basis
• Assist with annual marketing conference planning and execution

Qualifications

Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree student or recent graduate with a specialization in Marketing, Communications, Procurement, Automotive, or related field

Experience:
• Previous relevant internship or work experience in the automotive industry or marketing premium brands is welcome
• Automotive dealership experience is an asset
• Website management experience is an asset

Skills/Competencies:
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• French written and verbal is an asset
• Interest in automotive and prestige/luxury
• Strong motivation and willingness to learn
• Rigorous and excellent attention to detail
• Process oriented
• Above average time management
• Ability to proactively solve problems and work independently
• Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong understanding of website content management systems and graphic design is an asset
