Responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with the marketing and content teams to develop engaging video concepts that align with Black Music Canada’s vision and goals.
• Capture high-quality video footage in various settings, including interviews, live performances, behind-the-scenes content, and more.
• Operate video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio gear to ensure professional production quality, even in remote settings.
• Edit and polish raw video footage into compelling and visually captivating video content that resonates with our audience.
• Employ video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) to enhance videos, add graphics, music, and other elements, ensuring content is aligned with our brand’s aesthetics.
• Collaborate with the creative team to incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions to video projects.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining the video library and assets for easy accessibility and archiving.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in videography and video editing.
