Empowered Futures is a non-profit organization supporting emerging adults as they transition into adulthood. Our organization offers self-empowerment workshops and business mentorships. We aim to inspire and promote mental well-being in individuals ages 18-29.

As a Backend Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in our mission. Your responsibilities will include
• Developing and maintaining the codebase and architecture.
• Collaborating and communicating effectively with the team on project statuses.
• Providing innovative and efficient solutions to overcome challenges.
• Maintaining a strong vision and direction alignment with the rest of the team.

To succeed in this role, we seek individuals with the following qualifications and experience
• Any previous experience in Computer Science or Engineering is advantageous.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and Azure.
• TypeScript experience is beneficial.
• Openness to continuous learning.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
