Overview of the role :
The student finance will be responsible for verifying and reconciling all incoming customer payments in the management system and ensuring that all transactions are carried out according to standards and procedures.
How you will make contributions that matter:
- Understand basic accounting principles
- Record all incoming payments in the system within the required timeframes
- Reconcile all receipts
- Prepare and scan all documentation related to payments and deductions
- Research and obtain missing documents
- Respond to inquiries regarding external and internal customer accounts as needed
- Apply and adhere to established procedures and policies
- Perform all related tasks
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
- Minimum post-secondary diploma (DEC, AEC)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Bilingualism (spoken and written) is essential
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of AS400 and Maestro is an asset
- High level of accuracy, analytical skills, initiative, and autonomy
- Excellent ability to manage priorities and strong organizational skills

Salary Range: $18.05 – $27.00
