The Transport Intern will perform analysis and research of existing freight operations with a focus on service improvement, productivity improvements and cost control. the Intern is responsible for data gathering and analysis, process mapping, time studies and simulation of results. This opportunity will support operational decision making, project management, and contribute to service delivery and cost improvements to support our customer promise.
The Internship Program will begin on May 12th and end August 15th, 2025.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER…
- Identify and implement cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities;
- Track, analyze, and optimize freight movements. Identify gaps and support the development of improved routing configurations;
- Assist with continuous improvement projects.
YOU ARE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU…
- Are currently pursuing a Certificate, Bachelor, or Masters Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field;
- Are active in extracurricular activities on campus or in the community;
- Have previous related internship experience (an asset);
- Are detail-oriented, analytical, self-motivated and willing to take initiative;
- Are not afraid to get acquainted with your team and business partners, quickly building relationships;
- Experience in food manufacturing, health & safety (an asset);
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (Formulas, macros, power queries, etc.);
- Master Office suite programs and applications;
- Have strong time management and organizational skills: you will manage priorities and multiple projects at a time all while ensuring to meet deadlines.
