What are your contributions to the team?
From day one, you will contribute to the delivery of real projects using the latest technology to solve business problems. Over the course of your internship, you will receive one-on-one training and coaching from a team of talented experts and take on increasingly, while learning in a challenging and rewarding environment.
The Plant Engineering department at the Toronto site is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the manufacturing facility outside of building of the aircraft. Under the Site Services umbrella we are continuously involved in the maintenance of everything from the ground to the rooftop, including buildings, manufacturing equipment, automation, robotics and tooling.
The Plant Engineering Intern will function as an integral part of the department working in teams and independently on complex facility related projects.
During your internship, you will contribute to:
- Perform technical analysis to improve our buildings, facilities and equipment
- Implementation various improvement and inventory projects
- Produce and review technical drawings in AutoCAD & Revit
- Conduct building surveys and inspections
How to thrive in this role?
- You are familiar with Maintenance and Aerospace Manufacturing
- You are enrolled in a program in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- You possess excellent computer skills and are proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, Maximo and O365
- You can work on many projects at the same time and are organized, autonomous and efficient
- You speak and write in English
