Emerging Marketers Rotational Program Overview

Our Marketing team plays a key role in our evolution. Digital marketing, customer experience and eCommerce are three areas that will see the greatest transformation in the next few years. That strategic focus, alongside innovative marketing campaigns and experiences will continue to strengthen our relationships with Canadians, and ultimately our brand.

 

What You’ll Do

Canadian Tire’s Emerging Marketers Program provides you with an opportunity to develop broad marketing expertise and a thorough understanding of core marketing principles. You’ll get exposure across the marketing function of the organization and work cross functionally with internal and external teams to help bring marketing initiatives to life.

 

The rotational program is designed to be a launch pad for a long and prosperous Marketing career at Canadian Tire, helping us to continue to build an innovative, world-class marketing team.  The program consists of three progressive eight month rotations within Marketing and the Brand and Customer Team. By the end of the program, you can expect to have gained foundational knowledge and experience in the areas such as:

 

• Strategic Marketing (Advertising & Brand Strategy)
• Digital Marketing
• Community & Partnerships
• Marketing Promotions & Planning
• Loyalty & Customer Insights

• Customer Experience

• E-Commerce

 

What You’ll Bring

 

We are looking for students with an expected graduation of Dec 2024 – August 2025 who are:

 

• Problem solvers, with the ability to analyze, multi-task and prioritize to meet business objectives
• Agile and innovative marketers, who are able to manage in an environment of change and ambiguity
• Strategic thinkers who take initiative and are capable of building, launching and managing projects/programs that drive results for our customers
• Collaborative team players with superior communication and influencing skills, who build relationships easily across various stakeholder groups

 

If you think big yet understand the details, can ideate but also execute, and are passionate while being grounded – we are looking for you.

You are working towards or recently completed an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or advanced Business fields with a demonstrated passion for brands and marketing, as well as experience working in a data-driven, analytical environment. Previous experience working in marketing is considered an asset.

Hybrid

At Canadian Tire we value flexibility. We have adopted a hybrid work model whereby employees use a combination of working in office and virtually in service of outcomes. Each leader is empowered to decide what work is best achieved in person based on the unique needs of their team. This role will require a minimum two days a week onsite at our Toronto campus.
