Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Location: Hamilton, ON
Shift: 7am to 3:30pm
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to travel and available for standard internship hours from 7am to 3:30pm, subject to adjustment as required by assignment and location
- The candidates should have the ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, adversity, and constant change
- The candidates should be able to manage projects and deliver according to deadlines
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be pursuing four-year accredited college or university, with a preference for Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Agricultural Engineering
- The candidates should be collaborative, results-oriented, and possess strong critical thinking skills and outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- The candidates should possess analytical problem-solving skills and proficient in standard PC applications
- The candidates should be available for a fall term position from September 2024 to December 2024
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to participate fully in the day-to-day operation of a Bunge facility
- The candidates should be able to develop a thorough understanding of an elevator or oilseed processing plant operations
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate their level of understanding by responding to verbal or written inquiries from supervisors, mentors, or the program manager
- The candidates should be able to travel to other Bunge locations for training and exposure purposes
- The candidates should be able to assist location and corporate staff in evaluating changing crop, market, and operational conditions
- The candidates should be able to communicate effectively with Bunge internal and external customers
