Position Summary

As an Intern at McCain, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Global Technology Product Services team and have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various functional areas of SAP, such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Human Resources, as well as technical areas such as input Generative AI, RPA, QA automation tools, etc. This internship will expose you to different business processes within McCain and practice business analysis skills.

 

The Team

The Global Technology Platform Services (GTPS) team oversees the different portfolios within SAP and its surrounding environments. Working closely with business and IT leaders, we make sure we streamline operations and manage various business processes.

 

What You Will Be Working On

  • Exposure to different SAP implementations, such as rollouts or migrations that deal with functional configurations or development
  • GTPS tools that support different domains such as Business, Data, Application, Security, and Technology
  • PowerBI Dashboard activities
  • Different process automation/improvements
  • Global Technology Platform Services templates and diagrams maintenance
  • Assist with project management tasks such as planning, coordinating with different business stakeholders, and reporting
  • Assist in the development and documentation of business capabilities to ensure requirements are met

 

What You Will Learn

  • You will be exposed to SAP practice and work with different technology domains, such as business, data, applications, security, and technology.
  • You will gain hands-on experience with administrative tasks that will prove valuable in a formal business environment.
  • Work with Global Technology professionals to advance development standards, processes, and techniques to support different domains.
  • Different testing and validation techniques, as well as exposure to application lifecycle management tools and documentation

 

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution within Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related program.
  • Creative thinker with exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving competencies.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic environment
  • Investigate and respond to ad hoc requests as required with a high degree of flexibility, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize workload effectively
  • Analytical mindset, organizational skills, and attention to detail
