We are looking for a positive and motivated Engineering Co-op Student to join our Stormwater Hydrometric team for a 4-month term (possibility of extension to 12 months), starting in September 2024. What You’ll Do

  • Data review, analysis, and management
  • Compiling and organizing results for client-facing reports
  • Some fieldwork in and around creeks for flow measurement and equipment installation and maintenance
  • Must be physically able to conduct field visits commensurate with project work. This may include handling and operation of equipment, travel to remote areas by vehicle, boat, air or foot, and outdoor site visits in all weather conditions on uneven/varying ground terrain.

What You’ll Bring

  • A positive and motivated personality!
  • Current enrolment in a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering program or similar.
  • You know your way around the MS Office suite of products and are keen to grow your skills in new areas
  • You are passionate about building a career in stormwater, water resources and related fields.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) and be able to work with team members in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • A desire to learn new skills and an eagerness to grow within your role.
  • You’ve got a clean Driver’s Abstract, and are willing to travel
  • Must be physically able to conduct field visits commensurate with project work. This may include handling and operation of equipment, travel to remote areas by vehicle, boat, air or foot, and outdoor site visits in all weather conditions on uneven/varying ground terrain.

Wage

  • $3,932 per month
