About this opportunity

As a Communication and Marketing Intern, you will play a crucial role in assisting the team in various tasks related to marketing and communications. This position is designed to provide hands-on experience and help you develop your marketing and project management skills.

This position is part of Ericsson’s Global AI Accelerator (GAIA) team in Montreal. That is a team of data scientists and data engineers’ experts working on Artificial Intelligence (AI) & 5G related challenges. It’s important to note that this non-technical position will give you a unique exposure to learn and explore the field of AI & Machine Learning (ML).

What you will do

  • Newsletter Creation: Assist in the development of engaging and informative newsletters for clients and internal stakeholders. Collaborate with the content team to gather content, design templates, and schedule newsletter distribution.
  • Event Organization: Assist in planning, organizing, and promoting both virtual and in-person events, including webinars, conferences, and workshops. Coordinate logistics, such as venue selection, catering, materials, and speakers.
  • SharePoint Management: Maintain and update SharePoint sites with relevant content and resources. Ensure SharePoint access is organized, and permissions are managed effectively.
  • Content Support: Collaborate with the content team to create and edit marketing materials, such as blog posts, social media content, and visual assets.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, including newsletters and events.

You will bring

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant marketing, communications, or business University program.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint or a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn.
