The Global Transformation team within RBC Corporate Real Estate is looking for a CRE Transformation Program Fall Intern. Are you the Intern we are looking for?
RBC Corporate Real Estate (CRE) provides comprehensive management of RBC’s facilities and real estate services across its global operations, including office and retail space, operations centres and other critical facilities. The CRE Global Transformation team works with CRE Executives and across CRE teams developing and executing the strategic vision for CRE within the Enterprise. CRE’s mission is to be a trusted global partner providing valuable enterprise solutions and exceptional experiences.
As the CRE Transformation Program Fall Intern, you will support the Global Transformation team on transformative programs and projects, including the CRE operating model and cross-team integration initiatives, as the team develops strategies and provides program management, change management and facilitation services.
This role presents opportunities to connect with leaders across the CRE Team while advancing the project goals. Strong organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills and business acumen will make you a valuable asset in this role. Job Description
What Will You Do?
- Support the Project Managers in providing program governance including managing program milestones and driving deliverables
- Assist in identifying and tracking business and stakeholder issues and requirements and developing creative solutions
- Assist in identifying risks and mitigating strategies relating to the projects
- Assist with preparation of scopes of work and other project artifacts
- Assist with preparation of presentations and other materials for project socialization and participate in stakeholder reviews and updates
Must – Haves
- Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited University
- An interest in the Corporate Real Estate industry; prior experience is not required but ability and willingness to learn quickly is a must
- Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills, including the demonstrated ability to professionally communicate with senior management
- The ability to work independently as well as to be able to collaborate nd work effectively in teams, with internal departments and build partnerships with stakeholders
- Strong business acumen and analytical mindset
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strategic thinker with passion for using creativity in problem solving
- Technical Skills: Microsoft Office proficiency – MS Word, Excel, PowerPointNice-to-have
- Experience and knowledge of project management standards
