What You’ll Do

 

As part of the Intelligent Automation Centre of Excellence. You will design and program Process Automation solutions (Bots) by analyzing operational processes and recommending scope for automation; using advanced programming and configuration skills to deliver on automation projects across the enterprise.

  • Seek opportunities for automation and determine business needs, recommending suitability for automation.
  • Elicit, document, and manage stakeholder requirements to meet business and project objectives.
  • Build sufficient controls and metrics into processes being automated.
  • Develop solutions by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions, including development and configuration of systems.
  • Code and configure Bots, rapidly developing them based on process designs.
  • Draft test plans and validate results by testing automated processes.
  • Provide reference by writing documentation and building proficiency/knowledge of Robotic Process Automation suites.

 

What You Bring

  • Pursuing a post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science/Analytics, Engineering (Software or Industrial), and Robotics or Automation Engineering programs or a relevant field
  • Experience in software requirements analysis and in programming concepts and multiple programming languages and/or platforms (MS Power Platform, .NET, Java, Python, Selenium)
  • A quick learner and have an ability to adapt to new and emerging situations.
  • Curious about Intelligent Automation and Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI, Machine Learning).
  • Experienced with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • You’re driven by problems and challenges that require critical thinking and are passionate about leveraging emerging technology to simplify processes.

 

Hybrid

 

We value flexibility. We have adopted a hybrid work model whereby employees use a combination of working in office and virtually in service of outcomes. Each leader is empowered to decide what work is best achieved in person based on the unique needs of their team.  This hybrid role is based out of our Yonge/Eglinton Campus and the incumbent will be required to work onsite a minimum two days per week.
