What will you do during your first experience? 

 

You will work from one of our world-class facilities in Canada. During this time, you will gain essential experiences and skills as you work to improve production efficiencies, develop innovative business solutions and implement procedural changes. Additionally, to contribute to our Pep+ goals, you will be part of a team that will chart a new path of positive action for the factory, our people and our planet. Throughout your tenure, you will have the opportunity to highlight your concrete contributions by presenting them to the supply chain management team!

 

This experience will include motivating the frontline team, finding solutions to problems and removing obstacles to help the team have a “winning shift”. You will also be responsible for monitoring the company’s key performance indicators to recognize trends and focus on meaningful projects that will advance PepsiCo in its mission to be a faster, stronger and better company.

Responsibilities

Additional Skills and Experience:

  • Development of interpersonal skills by maintaining effective relationships with employees, providing training and communicating with front-line teams who are paid an hourly wage.
  • Application of acquired theory and practical knowledge of operations, repair, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance procedures to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Execution of the annual production operating plan.
  • Achievement of performance standards related to health, production line utilization and quality.
  • Tracking key performance indicators and costs; anticipate trends that could compromise the achievement of financial targets to make the necessary corrections.
  • Supervision of installation equipment to ensure their reliability and thus reduce interruptions to a minimum.
  • Overseeing compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Overseeing compliance with all quality management programs and food safety systems such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Standard Sanitation Procedures (SAP).

Qualifications

  • Availability Indicate the duration of the mandate (September 3, 2024 to December 20, 2024)
  • Be studying in a university program in business, engineering, supply chain or other similar field.
  • Being in the second year or more of the study program, an asset
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have a demonstrated willingness to work with people and lead
  • Have demonstrated ability to solve problems and manage competing priorities
  • Be a team player and know how to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty
  • Demonstrate a passion for extra-curricular activities and community involvement and have a history of participation in this type of activity
  • Be agile, take initiative and embrace changes with a positive attitude.
