As an integral member of the security team, you will actively contribute to our cybersecurity risk assessment and management processes. You will ensure compliance with published cybersecurity policies and standards, in the same way as other analysts.
Location: Saguenay (Quebec)
THE POSTTasks and responsibilities:
- Assist the team in identifying and documenting cybersecurity risks.
- Contribute to the analysis of security alerts and the remediation of identified issues.
- Participate in reviewing and updating information security compliance documentation.
- Assist in conducting design and operational effectiveness testing of security controls.
- Identify and collaborate on the automation of manual security compliance controls.
- Contribute to the application of established standards (ISO/IEC 27001, SOC2 Type II) as well as CONFORMiT’s internal security standards.
YOUR PROFILE
Qualifications required:
- Be currently enrolled in a university program in cybersecurity, computer science or a related field.
- A basic understanding of information security concepts and control frameworks (ISO, NIST, etc.).
- Programming or scripting skills with at least one language such as Python, Go, C#, etc.
- Prior knowledge in security technologies such as IPS/IDS and SIEM would be an asset.
- Good command of English and French, both oral and written.
- Be curious, motivated and eager to learn in a professional environment.
Required skills and abilities:
- Basic knowledge of the AWS ecosystem would be appreciated.
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) would be a plus.
- Cybersecurity certification, even entry-level, would be considered an asset.
