Up to 2 temporary full-time position for 4 months intended specifically for students currently enrolled in a business administrative or related post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree program, commencing in May 2024

In this position, you will provide a broad range of administrative services to staff within the section. Your effective oral and written communication skills and attention to detail will make you the right person to carry out the following responsibilities.
As a core part of the team, you will:
- Review and follow up via phone or email with citizens possessing delinquent permits in violation of Alberta Building Codes
- Prepare and process documents including infraction letters, letters, memos, Council Reports, and attachments according to City standards for signatures or approvals
- Provide administrative support, including responding to telephone, email or in-person inquiries, and distributing information as required
- Support communication on C-schedule documentation requirements to applicants, general contractors, and architects, and schedule final occupancy inspections
- Assist with administering a filing and document management system for retention and disposition
- Other related duties as required
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary institution, in a business administrative or related post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree program
- Experience with Google Workspace applications

Additional Details
Hours of Work: 40 hours weekly, Monday – Friday
Salary: $17.954 – $19.749 (Hourly)
