Job Summary
The Automation Solutions Team is looking for a Software Developer to join our development team to help ensure an exceptional quality standard for our in house developed suite of applications. Automation Solutions supports a suite of business developed & managed applications that assist Canadian Banking Operations with customized Workflow Management, Workforce Management, Automation, Quality Assurance, Process Functional Enhancement, and Analytic Tools.
We are looking for a motivated Software Developer with strong technical skills who will enjoy working in a collaborative environment where you will have continuous learning opportunities and challenging work. We are using Lean values, leading edge technologies, test driven development to quickly deliver next-generation optimization.
Job Description
- Design, develop and test software applications and features.
- Manage code documentation and version control.
- Be a technology advocate and share expertise with other team members.
- Be a key partner to the business and the rest of the team throughout the delivery cycle.
- Work with business partners to define software requirements
- Think through challenging and interesting problems and solve them with your team
Must Have
- Knowledge of the following technologies:
- Web Services, MS SQL
- AngularJS
- Java, Javascript, React, Python
- C#, HTML, CSS
- .NET (ASP.NET, .NET Core / 6, Console Applications)
- Hands on experience in source code management and DevOps (GITHUB,Jenkins, UCD)
- Passion for Software Development.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A high level of motivation, strong work ethic and self-starting attitude.
- A quick learner with a positive mindset, collaborative nature, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have
- Familiarity using Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Automated Testing Tools
- Familiarity with Cloud Solutions
- Undergraduate degree or advanced diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
- Technical background with development technologies like Helios, Apigee, OpenShift
- Familiarity with Robotics automation (PEGA) and process orchestration (Camunda)
