Location
Markham, Ontario
This is a hybrid role (remote & in-office) as the hiring team will require the student to come to the office approximately 3 days a week.
Program Term
4-month position from May 6, 2024 to August 30, 2024
The Role
As a UI Design Engineer Co-op, you will have the opportunity to to contribute to the product release cycle, by communicating and working with team members to create user interface designs and solutions for new and existing software products.
What you’ll be doing
- Collaborate to define new and update existing features in our products
- Define user interaction and flow of features for new and existing products
- Develop and present designs with various teams
- Build click-through prototypes
- Create production ready mockups and assets
What you’ll learn

Key Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or a related discipline
- Returning to school following internship
- Ability to work in team and independently
- Experience with Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Portfolio to be submitted with application
- Knowledge with mobile, desktop and responsive design
- Written and verbal communication and presentation skills
