Positions are full-time (37.5 hours/week), Monday – Friday, with a duration of up to a maximum of 6 months. We have a 40% hybrid work model, which translates to a minimum of 2 days per week in office, and up to 3 days per week of work from home.

Impact 

The Human Resources Intern provides support to the Human Resources, International Mobile Staff / Field Recruitment Team. The Intern assists to attract, select and onboard international staff, and ensures the smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions from the public.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as point of contact for all external recruitment inquiries for the Unit
  • Support the organization and promotion of recruitment outreach events through in-person and digital experiences
  • Support the Recruitment Team to drive the recruitment and onboarding process for international staff; screening applications, correspondence, updating dashboards, generating reports, etc.
  • Review, reconcile and process invoices for payment
  • Other duties and responsibilities aligned to the unit’s objectives and in support of our core principles

Knowledge and Experience 

  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills both in English and French

  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the able to self-direct workload and be flexible to pivot with competing priorities
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook), and videoconferencing-based software

Education, Certifications, and Languages

  • Recent graduate from a recognized college or university in human resources or a field relevant to the work to be performed or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
  • Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken
