Position Summary
The Marketing Coop Student is responsible for assisting the Director of Marketing to develop and execute the national strategic marketing plan. Working with the marketing team to help execute activities across channels including thought leadership and collateral development, events, media relations, online activity/web content, direct mail, sponsorships, promotions, internal communications, and primary and secondary research for various audiences including B2C and B2B (SMB/Enterprise).
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing, the duties and responsibilities of the Marketing Coop include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Collaboration with ESET Sales and Marketing teams to increase sales through the development of strategic marketing plans. Plans include but are not limited to event planning and execution, thought leadership, collateral and content development for various audiences including partners and end-users, media relations, online activity/web content, direct mail, sponsorships, promotions, internal communications, and primary and secondary research and follow-up on all activities to optimize conversion rates and performance of overall marketing investment.
• Contribute to developing go-to-market campaigns for whitespace opportunities that promote our product offerings.
• Monitor marketing plan and campaign efforts and conduct pre and post-program analysis to drive improvement.
• Accountable for tracking and reporting ROI on all marketing activities/campaigns
• Analyze sales reports and market feedback from internal and external sources to identify key issues, trends, opportunities and market share growth/decline for use in marketing and sales planning purposes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Communications, Economics, Public Relations or related field.
• Must have at least one additional semester of school remaining following the completion of the coop.
• Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee status in Canada.
Working Conditions
• Hybrid environment, up to 60% working remotely, based on a 40 hour work week.
• Travel up to 25% of the time supporting partners and events.
• On occasion, hours may vary depending on event support requirements
